Prostate Cancer
Went to VA lexington ky to day , say a doctor who said my cancer was small, and i would be rated somewhere between 20-100%? the reason being my cancer is so small, that it is no big deal, just wait and watch, but cancer is cancer..My MO has me taking two vitiams daily to keep the PSA under control, he said VA might except this as being treated for the cancer.OH well, also he said that i have all the syptoms for sugar, WHAT??? because of age, family history and CAD last year, talk about gloom and dome, this guy was depressing ... also he said that VA will pay you for what u have lost not what u have, which makes since,' he also stated be out of work, disable w…

What Is Holding Up Your Claim? I Know Now
It is called the BVA. Instead of making decisions on Veterans claims by overturning the RO's, The Remand the claims back to them for them to adjudicate. Once a claim is returned to the RO, It gets head of the line privledges. Kind of like a chow line. If I had a vote, I would change the name of the BVA to the BRA. Board of remanding Applications. That is where the backlog is coming from and Congress needs to correct it because it is taking a little bit longer every day due to the remands.

Terry, I have noticed that you often refer to surrendering yourslf to a federal jury in progress as a way to find recourse from a burdensome VA. When I Googled this term I found nothing that would indicate that this would give a citezen any special rights, privledges or recouse from greivious wrongs commited by government agents. Could you point to where you have seen this a way to solve problems with Gov? I'm not mocking you or knocking this I just want to see where it has been done or even a reference to it having been attempted successfully and what the person gained from it. Thanks Kirk

ptsd Does New Claims Hold Up Appeals
I wont try to explain whats going on in my case, but will attach a copy of a series of e-mails I have had with my ro recently. I have been reading alot on this subject here on hadit. Remember, you, have to start at the bottom-up for proper sequence I did notice in my last responce from them they didn't mention my appeal on my right knee, so I guess I need to call and make sure they got it. I wonder also since I decided to handle my own case if I may have screwed it up already. Anyway maybe this will help someone understand their case better. Actually I think it has blurred my vision even more. I appreciate any input. (I pointed out in my first e-mail, that…

Do I Have A Secondary Claim & Is It To Late?
Hi Veterans and Friends & Families of Veterans, I am a army reservist that was mobilized in 2003 and then again in 2005 for state side duty. I filed a claim for several issues, and received a 0% for bilateral hernias, 0% for flat feet, 10% hammer toes, 20% for wrist ligament severed, and 10% for bunions for a combined 30% rating. VA denied me for several other issues. My claim dates back to service from March 04 - Jan 05. I filed a NOD with some additional evidence. I have not heard back from the VARO, except for their standard letter saying they are working on my claim. My question is this, my left foot suffferd a posterior tibial tendon dysfunction - (a …

ptsd Called The 800# Today I Think This Is Good News Your
Hello Everybody, Since I last recieved everyones excellant advice a few things have occured. Just before we moved from our home 4 weeks ago, the VA sent my husband for his very first C&P in connection with his first claim ever filed with VA. At the end of the exam the NP who performed the exam said he should hear something in about 3 months. 2 weeks ago, when we arrived in Texas, my husband met with the TVC (Texas Vet commision Rep), who recommended that he have his filed transfered to the WACO RO so the rep could help keep an eye on the progress and because of future C&P exams, being ordered and California was to far to travel. In general you folk…
