ptsd C & P Exam For Ptsd
I had my first c & p exam for ptsd on 2/10 and haven't heard anything until today when i got another letter from the VA with another c&p exam set for 4/19/10. I'm new to all this and it was my understanding that after the first c&p exam the results would be sent to someone to evaluate it and i would be assigned a rating of some sort. Why am I going for another c&p exam for the same thing within a month ? any suggestions or comments. thanks

diabetes Aid And Attendance With Tdiu
I have a well known veteran on another forum telling me I should not be receiving the AA "L" award b/c I don't have a single SC rating of 100% and he states that is what is needed to get AA. I have filed and just had a C&P for an increase in my Level of AA to a higher award but now I am not so sure that was a good move b/c he said they may cut me off and I will be liable for an overpayment. I received TDIU in 1997 based on a 70% PTSD rate and since then I filed for and received 20% Diabetes, 20% Spine/Back and 4 other at 10% rating for each, plus I have the SMC K for ED. I went to the BVA website looking up Veterans cases and see all through there where cases like …

hypertension 6 Way Cardiac Bypass Surgery
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea where I stand with this claim. Ten years ago I received a 10% claim based on hypertension. That was about twenty years after discharge. About four years ago, I noticed that I had to stop and rest when push mowing the yard. The symptoms were shortness of breath, fatique, and chest pain. I had a stress echo test done. It showed nothing. In 2008, I was rushed to the emergency room because of very low blood pressure. Again, a stress test showed nothing. By October 2008, I got to where my job was very difficult to do with heavier objects (mechanic for the USPS), so I retired on a regular full retirement, being eli…

C&p Today
Wow what a crazy day, my wife had her second C&P today. It was crazy, i went along with her to ensure total honesty and to make sure the evaluation was completed. The VA Doctor or contractor would not let me go into the exam with her. He said his office was to small and we could come back another day and re-schedule with another Doctor or have the exam without anyone else present. We told him that the exam would not take place without me present. He said fine re-schedule and left, he was not friendly at all in fact he had my wife in tears. UGHHHHHHHHHHH!! We were lucky the girls working the schedule were able to get her back with another Doctor and we only waite…

hypertension No Idea What Is Going On
Hello everyone. I am pretty new to this, and some of the actions of the VA make no sense to me with the C and P exams. I have a 10% rating for hypertension. To make a long story short, I was rushed into surgery Jan 12th for a six way bypass operation. That was after an abnormal stess test and heart cath. Anyway, I filed for an increased percentage. After the operation, I received a notice from the VA for an exam Jan 26, some two weeks after the operation. The day before the exam, I get a call from the VA that the appointment had been cancelled. The toll free customer service number says the claim is still being considered, and they have no idea why it was cancelle…

C & P Exams Are Over - Waiting Now
Hi all, Since I am so new to this process, I read alot and post very little - it's the best way to learn. I have recently finished my 3 exams. They were OK - the docs seemed to act concerned enough, pretty much. I did ask for and receive copys of my exrays (on a CD that I can even view at home!) and typed copies of my exam notes for each. Most of the jargon is beyond me, but I'll throw them in here. While I wait for my letter (other than my monthly love letters), I'll check back to see if there are any comments left here. hearing considered within normal limits, slight reduction at 6000 and 8000 Hz which is consistent with reports of tinnitus Right shoulder:…
