My claim just closed for MDD,PTSD,and SLEEP APNEA. I have been waiting over a week for my decision letter. The day before my claim was completed on ebenefits I picked up my CPAP. I was planning on starting my appeal on Monday but I thought I would have my decision letter by now. So now I think I need to wait till I get the envelope in hand before I start the appeal. I would appreciate any helpful advise relating to starting an appeal. And another question I will have to appeal just for the CPAP and according to the rating schedule that will be 50% which would bring me to 70% Now once i get that won do I appeal that for IU or just start a new claim.

actually i have had sleep apnea in my records for a long time it just said unspecified beside it . I am starting to get impatient waiting on my results hopefully they will arrive today

Ok I have not posted in quite a while. My current claim just moved to complete. This claim took exactly one year. My claim was for insomnia with sleep apnea, major deppressive disorder, and ptsd. The only c&p exam i got was for a pscharist they didnt get me a sleep study. In october my house burnt down and i am now in the homeless program living in a transitional housing unit. I have been trying to get a sleep study for over two years. Last month my homeless counser made a request to get me a sleep study. I had a appointment in less then a week and recieved my cpap last wednesday and on friday my claim became complete. and there is a regulatory and prodedural review posted on ebenefits. and my folder moved from muskogee to souix falls. What does the review mean. I am still waiting on my packet and I know I will have to appeal it because of the cpap.

My counselor just retired I got a letter that I would be reassigned but until then if I have any problems to contact her supervisor

I filed another claim in March for sleep apnea ptsd and mdd i sent in all the information they requested and it has now moved to the decision phase without any c&p appts

there is exceptions to that 12 year rule while you may have lost your gi bill the eligibility for voc rehab can be extended

well thats kinda what i figured I have never used the DAV van as of yet but I was considering it as my vechile starting to act up and I am afraid it might break down on me ok another question I think i read somewhere or heard form someone that DAV dont transport for mental health I dont understand how that could be true but I figure one of you will tell me it aint

I have a question If I have DAV take me to my appointments am I still entitled to the travel pay

sorry you are having problems with your counselor I must be one of the lucky ones to get a good one first time I wish you could have the same one as I have but the bad news is she is gonna retire half way through my schooling make sure they get you a new computer for school they will give you forms for reimbursement of stuff like printer cartridges, internet service i get 35 a semester added to my school acct for supplies just wish i could get transportation covered its 50 miles one way

wow less then a month in the decison phase thats incredible was this a one item claim how long where you in development you should be able to check the letter generator to see what you new percentage is

there is a excel program that is supposed to be set up correctly and according to that this is what i come up with bilatterals 40=40 40=64 combined +10%=70.4 ok so we are the same at that point 70=70 30=79 20=83 10=85 total combined 85% rating 90%

voc rehab is a good program I have a great counselor and she really got the ball moving real fast i applied in jan and started school in march

Well except for slowing down my current claim. I see one other way in which this may affect me. I am going to school through Voc-rehab and have just enrolled in my summer semester for 9 credit hours While my pay isn't supposed to be a problem will processing of classes for a new semester be a problem I know my voc rehab counselor is furloughed she told me the other day that she didnt know if she had a job after yesterday I personally dont think the shutdown will last more then 1 week

i got my comp which is direct deposit but i didnt get may voc rehab which was mailed shouldt that of been here today

I believe under pay it just says mailed check or desiginated finanical institution I know it don't have account #'s and I dont think you can change your bank info online. I know thats not much relief. but i think that unless you have your omph requested then you cant even see your full ssn the letter generator just shows last 4. This is still a major problem and needs fixed ASAP. But someone can get your address and they can change the address

When you call up and ask for your C-File does it show up on ebenefits as a FOIA claim

psychiatrist is a regular DR who has also taken additional schooling in the study of pschyology they are the ones that gives out medications physiologist has a phd in pschyology can not give out drugs but has more of a specialized training and is better able to treat and diagonos you with one on one or group therapy I belive this is the most useful you may need to call your PCP to get a referal to mental health if you have never used them before

I got my retro today and it don't add up i was 10% so i was getting 123 a month now im 30% and getting 376 a month differance of 253 new ratings are granted effective 6/1/10 so the way I understand it the the first check that would have to be paid in retro would have been paid on 10/01 so I figure my back pay should be 2277.00 how do i get a check for 2262.48 is there a fee involved with the claims process i aint gonna fight for 12 bucks i just dont understand where it came from
