Well everyone I have a question, I sent a letter to BVA to have my BVA claim push up and see the VLJ at the ST Pete RO, on 11/05/14 that request was granted. I met with the traveling law judge and all went well and was told that now I had to wait for my docket number to come up and they would issue me a judgment. I put in a motion to advance motion on Docket and was approved on 2/11/14. Here is my question how long does it take to get a reply now that all is in place a nay or yea. ???

I was an RTO with the LRRP and one day while on ambush we were ambushed and our LT just froze in place I push him aside and called in air support. If I would not have jumped over him and did what I did I would not being worrying about any benefits or calling anyone. LT remembers that day we keep in touch and he thanks me all the time This happen on 04/16/67 you have to do what you have to do. If I win I help others we leave no one behind.

Well Thadine was right on got a reply from Allison Hickey today, so I now have bob's staff attorney and Ms. Hickey. She has directed my request on Appeals management center for a reply. I have had my BVA Hearing back on 11/05 so all I need is a yea or nay since I have a motion to advance docket.

Can someone please give me her email ???? Allison Hickey that's is/.

Had my VLJ traveling judge on 11/05 at ST Petersburg RO no file everything on electronic file on need for paper file "C file" to be sent. I was notify of my VLJ meeting 4day before. Ro called and said I was scheduled to meet the judge on 11/05 10.30 AM. Vso also called to confirm that date and give me some last min advice so did DC. Saw judge spoke to judge she looked up my file added new evidence via scanner at RO and said my file was being sent to her law clerk in DC to transcribe my tapped statements and review all my evidence. Ebennies has me at level 2 as of 11/20 even though I know its in the hands of a law clerk and sent electronically. I also know my appointed VLJ and have had my docket number way back on 12/13. things are changing for the better. My VSO did a good job I was surprised. Oh and before I forget my VSO made me sign a waiver of review even though the judge also requested it and he had it at ready. Thank you Call me BOB will let you know now how long it will take before I get me my appeal granted or denied. Time will tell. JMHO

Well had my BVA VLJ hearing today at 10.30 sharp and was out in 40 min It went better than I expected. The judge was very nice, the meeting was informal causal. My VASO rep came with me not that I needed him but to my surprise he was well prepared and spoke in my behalf and was quite knowledgeable about my case. The judge ask many question of me none that were not answered in my file. She took all my new evidence and had it entered electronically into my file so she could have her staff attorney go over my appeal and verify all my sworn statements. So much ez than a C&P your talking to a person who understands the Vet and is there to help him. Not much more to say now the waiting begins. She told me she could not tell me the out come of our meeting but that I would get a written statement with her judgment, and before I forget she also said she could not tell me how long it may take for me to get an answer about my appeal. All in all it went very good . Just have the right evidence and be carful with IMO because she mentioned that Vets not all, but some are paying doctors to fill out false IMO. well hope this helps lets see what happens will let you all know how long it takes to get denied or approved.

Have denial letter from Vocational and rehab counselor and letter from my VA group PRRC program stating Iam SC for PTSD and not employable.

Well received Letter from RO for BVA Traveling law judge for 11/05 Wednesday at 10.30 am Thanks BOB. Will let all know what the outcome is. I have solid evidence for my case which I was told to bring to the hearing. 42 months from the NOD for IU tinnitus sleep apnea. My VSO which will be with me not that I need him said we look real good.

That's the way I look at it, strike while the VA is under investigation. Good luck to all.

broncovet, your a downer, I was ask to let them know DC that is what is being done and how did they handle my appeal and request.. I would give you my McDonald staff helpers name but let say she is helping me and others. Take that chip off your shoulder there are many good VA staff people that would help. I will let you all know how everything works out, but so far after five years someone is seeing we get responses.

broncovet, I did not get anyone mad they were very happy to help, squeaky wheel gets the grease. I guess when you want something done right go right to the top. And by the way he did not anger the specialist just put a fire under him. The person who will decide my case will be a VLJ. Thanks for you thoughts well taken.

Well gentlemen I( got the call this morning about my BVA traveling board judge hearing. I was told that it would be either 11/5 or 11/7 at St Petersburg RO. I guess mr McDonald has some real pull. I have been fighting this IU claim since 10/11/2011. They directly told me that the request to get me going came from DC center office. Is there anything I should be aware of or and advice at the hearing, a Varo officer will be with me . Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Asknod. They will be calling me today again to confirm which date, wish me luck. I guess its not what you know but who you call. Will let you all know when they call.

I called him too, left a message and emailed him and sent a letter with all copies of emails and letters to Ms. Laura H Eskenazi which she or her staff never even bothered to reply. If he cannot help me then I give up. Will let you know

I saw the 3 hr video on the BVM yesterday and even put it in my favorites and now gone cannot find it anywhere, even on VA watchdog were I first saw it gone. ????????????????

thank you both, just needed that extra opinion form you guys. I have had a BVA appeal now for 16 month for IU. Just wanted to be sure my counselor was right when she said get this in to your RO and VARO , and Vet claims examiner. Thank you for all your help will let you know what happens.
