You sure have my prayers.

I am in a prayer group at my church and have asked many there, to pray for the VA, on many occasions..last time this past Thursday.

I always pray for someone there at VA to actually read my evidence.

I have never had a prayer go unanswered by the Lord. Some took a few years and other prayers took a few hours.

God is so Good..

Point taken. Trust me I'm on board with the frustration but I'm just saying don't misplace the anger that's all. Why get mad at the person that is helping? Sounds like correcting the behavior helped some of us vets get movement... isn't that the goal?

There are two warriors in your home. One warrior fought for his country and the other warrior fought for her husband. You trained yourself, armed yourself, and you kicked their ass. You should be proud of yourself for what you have accomplished. Even though you had your hands full fighting the VA for your husband, you didn't hesitate to help others on Hadit fight their battles. There are a lot of people on the Hadit website who have a lot of admiration and respect for you including myself. I hope we will continue to see your posts on the Hadit website for many years to come. You are an inspiration to us all.

Gentlemen this is wasted energy. In the whole if going the way of emailing top VA officials is the way to get progress then so be it. This is really trivial and we can't let our differences get in the way of our true mission here. We are here to help everyone on their road of the maze that is the VA. While we can stay on the same path or choose another that makes no difference the goal gentlemen is the key. Just compensation for just service that is all. If people don't like people's opinion then so be it, you don't have to follow it, but don't discredit your knowledge and experiences by getting into a pissing contest.

My apologies if I offend anyone but that is JMHO. We are in this together to help each other.

Allison Hickey is the Undersecretary for Benefits at the Department of Veterans Affairs. A few months ago, some veteran's groups were calling for her resignation due to the lack of progress with the pending claims backlog. However, it appears Secretary McDonald has given Ms. Hickey the "my way or the highway" speech. It appears she chose Secretary McDonald's way which has saved her job and seems to have transformed her into a "get it done" veteran's advocate and a good example for her subordinates to follow. I am impressed with Ms. Hickey and Secretary McDonald at this point and I hope they keep up the good work. JMO
