    Is there a way I can service connect my diabetes and my sleep apnea. I have been suffering from sometimes severe back pain from a service related injury. How can I connect the two if was never mentioned in my service records. I injured my back while on a rotation at NTC. After injuring my back i was on a profile for the last 16months, before they Chaptered me for weight control (218lbs). Before my injury I never had a problem with my weight. when I finally got my c-file i learned that i was up for the MEB, but they chaptered me before that. Again, how can I sc diabetes and sleep apnea?

    Thanks for the response broncovet. Its all over my smr's and my progress notes. If he viewed them he would've known that.

    After going over my progress notes from c&p I noticed some answers to questions that had different answers that I gave. For instance he said i have tingling down my left leg and not my right leg. After seeing my medical records and knowing how both my legs feel I'm wondering why he said one leg and not both. I know i told him both legs experience about the same amount of pain. I was awarded 10% for my left leg and nothing for my right leg. How shall I confront this issue?

    NEEDING A LIL HELP WITH THIS NEW CLAIM. I'M TRYING TO SERVICE CONNECT MY SLEEP APNEA AND MY DM 2. WHEN I FIRST WENT INTO THE MILITARY I WAS VERY ACTIVE AND ATHLETIC. AFTER ABOUT 2YRS IN I SUFFERED A BACK INJURY WHILE DURING A ROTATION AT NTC ( CALIFORNIA ). FOR YEARS IT WAS MISDIAGNOSED AS A LUMBAR STRAIN. RECENTLY IT WAS CHANGED TO IVDS (DDS). 

     AFTER THE INJURY I WAS UNABLE TO DO ANY PT AND STAYED ON A PROFILE, SUBSEQUENTLY CAUSINGME TO BE DISCHARGED FOR WEIGHT STANDARD. YEARS PASSED  AND I'M GOING THROUGH MY C-FILE AND NOTICED THAT I WAS SCHEDULED TO BE MEDICALLY DISCHARGED. 

    MY QUESTION ISHOW CAN I GET MY DM2 AND SLEEP APNEA SERVICE CONNECTED WITHOUT HAVING IT IN MY SMR. I STARTED GAINING WEIGHT AFTER MY INJURY SO IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN SERVICE CONNECT THE TWO?

    Gastone been gone for a minute and when i returned the website has changed. i would greatly appreciate you looking over my things for my sa claim. I was not dx in the military. i had a sleep study done by a private neurologist and was given a cpap machine. can you give me some insight

    Thanks for the info pwrslm. What I failed to mention was that I'm SC for my back already ( 10 % lumbar strain ) since 1997. I was filing for an increase due to my back getting worst. At the time of my C&P my back was really bothering me really bad. I could barely bend or move, However after reading this report it is clearly obvious that he didn't listen and write down all the facts. It's alot of things that were left out. This VA C&P is a joke.

    I recently completed my C&P exam on 3/14/17. Can anyone give me some insight on this. Some information I relayed to the Dr. apparently went in one ear and out the other. Any information is helpful. ThanksDBQ ( back ).pdf

    thanks broncovet and buck for your reply. My evidence that I want to have noted is dr. visits that the DAV failed to upload with my FDC .

    I have a C&P on March 14, and wanted to know can i bring additional information to submit to the examiner to help with my claim? And If so do they suppose to take that into consideration?

    I visited my local DAV ( which was a f*%&#ng joke ) for assistance with filing a claim. He was so distracted with other things like talking on the phone and playing on the computer. Anyways, when he filed my claim he did not submit all of the dr"s notes that I had and he filed a FDC. My question is how can i submit the other information without making it a regular claim or can I wait and just bring it to the c&p exam. Thanks in advance.

    I filed a claim for hypertention in april 2015. My claim was denied in Oct.16 stating that it was not sc and no evidence in my medical records. I went through my smr and found over 7 times that my pressure was taking and it read higher than 120 and numerours times in the 140. What should I do now? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

    I am 70% with ptsd and lumbar strain. I have sinced been diagnosed with DMII, Hypertention and sleep apnea with a cpap machine. How or can I SC any of my diagnoses. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Congrats on your award. I was hoping you can tell me the case laws that you used to back up your claim and where can I find them. I was previously denied and I would like to have that backing when I submitt my appeal. Thanks

    I noticed that the VA didn't award me anything for my anxiety. I was diagnosed with PTSD, depression, anxiety and MDD all at the same time. I looked through my records and see where it's all listed. It has been less than a year since I received my award. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting my anxiety added into my disabilities. Do I file an appeal or..........

    Looking for some advice, I am 70% for PTSD and 10% strain lumbar. Do I qualify for ssi or ssdi or any other benefits i'm missing. Please enlightened me. Thanks
