i was just awarded 0% for tbi ,0% for neck pain from same accident, 30% for migraines and 10 % for diplopia{double vision] fibromyalgia was denied as was deviated septum they never for it,norwas i asked.i did however tell them about the pain. i am also 50% for ptsd. all these symptoms were in my smr including inability to breath while sleeping,also denied. fibro is a strange and hard claim to secondary anything...from my experience

c and p, this is your claim.nobody needs to be more passionate about it than you.if there has been a diagnosis,you need to learn what it is,how to pronounce it and know everything about it. the va is not going to grant you a claim by stating something or other whatever that means. cases are won by knowledge and patience. if there is a word you don't know,type it into the computer and find what the va is referencing,they use the 38cfr...you need to do the same.good luck and don't take this as bashing you.i for one would love for all veterans to be 100%

last month i used this success story forum to announce i went from 10 to 60% with some claims deferred.well i got the letter today and they zero sc'd a lot of the claims but gave me 30% for the migrains..so now it's on to tdiu because my ptsd is 50%. i can't believe what little i learned here could mean that much.thanks tbird and all.....

everyone here are volunteers. not any organization.just vets helping vets,if we have to answer the same thing in sveral post,we get tired and frankly,i feel you are not taking your claim seriously.who says "lol" after discussing an injury?and i am offended that you say i am like the va...i am an honorably discharged vietnam vet that raised 5 children while working and being near total disabled,i fought for 35 years to get 60 percent.if you want to know how my battle went and how i got mine,stick to one post....it will make your claim and information gathering go a lot better. welcome to hadit..we are all volunteers in this place

I have no leave period due to mishaps on the job concerning my inability to put up with being around my coworkers.all documented.also i am a govt employee working under the offset program. i have civil service retirement,plus i pay ss.

keep me informed as i am in the same exact situation.60% ptsd ,govt job and getting worse.

the va sent back my paperwork to add my wife stating that their records do not match my account of things. do i need to furnish marriage license and divorce decrees or just dates? they never asked for these documents.

my raters triggered the exam for me.then in weeks i was sc'd.

i've had 4 surgeries for plantar faciitus and nothing helped.then i found z-coil shoes and i actually cried they felt so good. a little pricey but well worth the money. they are butt ugly but i'll fight ya to keep them.

very interesting. tbird can benefit from your info.can you copy and paste the imo's? i also have jp4 issues where i was saturated and burned ,recorded in my smr's. i have also got pd-680 issues.[benzene] before the bad stuff was removed by the epa,1972-1977 time frame. who was your docs on the imo's? my doc's are weanies and don't have the testicles to buck the va.

i believe at one time i read some post from hoppy on jet fuel exposure. several months ago though. i too have been trying to link my exposure and maladies. mine are smr recorded incidents.good luck,i will be folowing this thread.

i just got my official notice where i was granted some and denied a few. the denial states " at dischrge physical,no illness or injury was noted 1 january ,1977". that may be true ,but i was actually discharged 90 days after that physical. is this normal ,what covers both parties,me and them.in that 90 days? is that 90 days covered by that jan 1977 statement?

had a tbi c and p on friday.the dr's name is tran...with a big attitude . asked me what problems i was experiencing and when i started to tell himhe went ballistic" all veterans think that everything that happens is from injuries suffered in military ,that not true,not everything comes from injury in service.all veterans are same" interview over,he had me sign a waiver to a butt check,that had nothing to do with my headaches and vision....so if you have a c and p in okla city..beware of a dr. tran.....

i have ibs,urinary problems{big time] i use a cpap but still awake in pain,i have shooting,burning,tingling pain moveing all over my body in rapid succesion[never in the same place]. i get down but can't get up,i need to get down and can't. i shuffle when i walk,i no longer take strides.i have had 4 nerve block surgeries and none have helped. sometimes when i move too suddenly,it triggers a spasm that starts in one area and moves over my whole body....i hope this isn't old age..cause i'm not quite 60 yet.

nursing homes,church,parks,on the street hungry and tired.some of the vets i meet don't have the money to be in a grocery store. what i'm hearing you all say is that if a vet can't do it themselves that you don't like to answer the question.part of helping is research,part of research is sometimes asking on hadit. i copy everything i ask and read on here,so the vet can take the info with them. if we are not to help vets that can't get access to hadit..what good are we and what are we worth? that is my train of thought. i did not realize we should tell a vet"sorry,you have to ask for yourself"
