twiddle, diddle, still waiting. Vacation coming up that will consume some time, then a little kitchen project to occupy my time. Trying to be productive and stay busy. :)

I know this claim has already had long enough residency at Pittsburgh, it went through initial denial there, the RO denial, then to BVA, now it is back there. It is a 2003 claim, that was sent back to be rated on 12/30/11, just the rating part has been over 6 months now. I wonder how social security does it, they deal with a lot more claims nationwide I think and they get out some pretty timely results right?

When I call my POA they say it is "Ready to be Rated" but the workload is holding them up,

I have an old decision, actually two denials, then appealed it and won it at BVA level, two issues, one I believe original date of claim was in 2003, but va is saying 2005, I will wait on this rating and see how far they go back, if they don't go back to the original, I guess I will be appealing that. This waiting is hard.

What VARO do you have? I have Pittsburgh, I can't see anything on ebenefits since it went back to VARO for rating purposes. It is a ridiculousy long wait. Mine was sent back from BVA with a grant of benefits on 12/30/11, still waiting.

they are telling me like 92 days in decision phase.

Finally went into decision phase, but I guess this is a little different than a claim. Since it is in for rating purposes not real sure on time frame of this phase, they are in a an IRIS message told me 96 days in this phase. We shall see, I am glad to see movement. I know it can go backwards at any time though. It went into this phase on June 4, 2012. Hopefully have it all settled out by fall.

I just added two dependants, children I adopted, I hope it don't mess up my other dependants.

I live in the sticks in Pa, no where near Philly, I am not city material, LOL. I am scoping out ebenefits tonight and none of my stuff from VARO level is on there but is for appeal level, wonder if they are finally getting my stuff done? Hoping? Do you use ebenefits?

These appeals I won in December have an original claim date of 2002 and 2003.

How true, I won an appeal at BVA level back in December on 2 issues, still waiting to hear from my VARO, had C&P pretty quick in Feb. now just playing the waiting game, next month will be 6 months and I am just waiting on a rating.

They aren't, the VARO hasn't looked at it yet, what bugs me is I can't even get a ball park timeframe, it is bs, this claim already spent enough time in Pittsburgh, it was started there in 2005, denied there in 2005 and again in 2008, so here we go again, a simple rating and 4 months go by and no news, totally ridiculous!! I have waited long enough on this one, IRIS just gives crappy generic answers too. Surely some where is an average time frame on this?? The DAV guys light hearted jokes about a christmas club is starting to get a bit irritating here too, Christmas clubs and vacation clubs earn intest last time I check!!!

So I call the DAV and there is nothing new, you would think that one could get a ball park answer anyway, can't get crap, uggggg, frustrating. So the DAV guy says everyday is building your vacation club or christmas club, ha ha, real funny. BVA Decision --- granted service connection--- 12/30/2011 still nothing from VARO! Come on Pittsburgh!
