Well I won another claim. I now have 40% each leg for PAD, that jumps me from 60% to 90% with retro pay back to Oct. 2013.

I went on ebenefits today checked the usual spots va payments-comp statis-ab8 letter-I just happened to click on commissary page and I was stunned it stated I was 100% sc disabled from the usa and this disability is total and permanent with no future exams scheduled and been awarded comm. priv.can you imagine putting this on that page first.i am very happy with this decision with the help of my pvt. counsel. thanks for all the people on hadit that told me fight on .its never over

My husband received his retro the day he received his envelope. That process was about a week after the change on ebennies. There was no delay because he was not receiving retirement pay.

Thank everyone for their replies. I am going to look at our banking account in the next couple of weeks to look for his back pay. I am not worried about over spending because i know how it is not to have money for the basic necessities so most of what he gets will be put in savings. We are both amazed, relieved more than happy.. it has not been long as some but a fight since 2010 ( denied) and re-applied and denied in 2011.... appealed in 2012 and approved in 2015.. Thanks again ,, so much. In 2008 when he first got out of the military, i was completely lost... i did not know anything... I spent weeks looking up things on here and asking questions and eventually he went from 50 to 60 to 70 to 80 to now 90 with I/U... it was a slow process and i know that i would not have been able to help him if it had not been for this site. I understand. I will just tell him to tell the truth about how he is feeling even though he is anxious and nervous about it. I understand the truth is the best option but when he has, they threaten to put him in a residential facility or in a mental institution. For the C&P exam, i will tell him to tell the truth...
