Note sure how old your computer or your monitor is but it should have it somewhere on your screen the magnifying glass with the + sign in it and right beside it is a ?%, it could be 50%, 75%, 100% or something like that. I think my old computer had it in the center of the screen under the task bar.
Hope This Helps
Thanks for your help Pete. No luck here. Computer wise, mine is a 1 yr. old generic model with a 5-6 yr. old Benq monitor..nothing fancy. It's loaded with XP Pro. My skills are basic. I'm learning as I go. Guess I'll have to stick with the CTRL +/- method but hopefully others will be able to use the method you describe.

Sorry about that-.
Thanks for posting them here.
As mozartplayer said:
"I have to admit to being surprised by his reaction after he pushed through the post-9/11 GI Bill which has a 10 year projected cost much higher than the 10 year projected cost for paying benefits on claims for the three new diseases."
Yes that is a good point and also the VA pays out more for malpractice settlements that these presumptives are projected to pay out.
It makes you wonder of some of these congressial reps have their heads in their -----
sand
I like your long pause---------"sand"
I may have chosen other wording!
No problem adding the other links....I appreciate the link that got me to the site!

I see no difference in the (Heart)these and the ones that have been used since I had my heart attack in 05.
Now why doesn't that surprise me?!

Congratulations Steppenwolf!

There should be a magnifying glass with a + sign in the center of it on the bottom right hand side of your computer screen, this should do the trick of increasing or decreasing your screen.
Hope This Helps
This would be so much easier if I could find it on my screen. Any ideas?

I have days when I have a hard time seeing anything on a web page. This is a quick action for increasing/reducing font size to make reading much easier:
To increase font size - simply click both the CRTL key & the + key at the same time until desired size is obtained.
To decrease font size - simply click both the CRTL key & the - key at the same time until desired sized is obtained.
Check it out! I've found this really helpful on those bad days.

George,
I didn't have any problems viewing your scanned documents and appreciate the fact that you've shared them with us. As Carlie mentioned, it is very hard to believe that somebody could get a secondary, such as this, to PTSD but you've proven that it can be done and these documents give explanation to the claim process.
Thanks again!

Wow! That is fast. Your brother must be thrilled.

Notorious Kelly,
This is really great news. Congratulations!
Does your letter say whether you have to have future exams?

Forman1983,
Combined Bilateral = 55 +10%=60.5 (Rounded 61)
Combined with Non-Bilateral = 61 + 10 = 65
Final Rating: 70%
Great test of the bilateral formula
Thanks so much

Thank you for letting us know about your success. Since my 50% is for PTSD I find your post very helpful.
Congratulations!

Great news....Congratulations!

Sounds like success to me!!

We'd like to run a test on the calculator.
Many members don't have the Excel program or don't want to download unknown files to their computer, so we're willing to run the ratings thru the calculator. We'd like to run tests with and without bilateral disabilities.
Post or private message your disability ratings list (numbers only)& your final rating so we can cross check our findings. Please indicate which of your ratings require using the bilateral factor.
Here's a listing example:
40 Bilateral
20 Bilateral
30 Bilateral
30 Bilateral
50
20
10
VA rating: 100%

Thank you for your comments. We would like to be able to help membership out with this calculator. If it is a success, we'd be honored to have it placed on the site.
So far, testing (on my original file) has been 100% successful (cross checking with the VBA 38CFR Combined ratings table and using the 10% bilateral factor). We'd like to have Hadit members run their percentages to see if it works for them before we'd be able to call it a complete success.

Pete,
Good luck...I hope it works out for you.

Pete
If you have 30%-30% with the bilateral factor for flat feet the calculator puts it at 56.1 with a final rating of 60% for bilateral flat feet.
I cross checked the results against the VA combined ratings table which shows the same results.

Here's our version of a ratings calculator that will do both bilateral and non-bilateral ratings(my wife, the perfectionist, did most of the work on this). We are hoping that others will find it useful. There are no guarantees that it will work 100% of the time but it's done well in our testing so far.

Can't begin to tell you how many times I've hit the wrong button, or had an electrical outage, etc. while in the middle of an important document or online form! All my work, down the drain! Will I be able to remember how I worded everything? It was perfect, now it's gone! Due to these issues, I do as Notorious Kelly does and save my documents numerous times while working on them. Online forms are another story. My heart goes out to you...I know how irritating this is!
