AS OF TODAY I HAVE BEEN ASKED BY THE VA TO DESCRIBE THE INCIDENT I FELT LED TO MY PTSD CLAIM 7 OR MORE TIMES. THE VA HAS ASKED MY WIFE 3 TIME FOR A STATEMENT OF WHAT A REAL BADDY I WAS AND AM ,INFIDELITY ,FIGHTING,JAIL,,ABUSE,DRUNK YEARS,HOW I TREAT MY FAMILY ECT.... THIS IS REALLY HARD FOR MY WIFE TO REPEATE OVER AND OVER TO SOME STRANGERS,ARE THEY TRYING TO BREAK UP A MARRIAGE OF 45 YRS IT IS ESPECIALLY HARD FOR ME TO REPEAT THE INCIDENT OVER AND OVER TO ANYONE ARE THEY TRYING TO SAY I AM A LIAR [WHEN THE SAME STORY IS WRITTEN BY THE NAVY 2 OR THREE TIMES ??? DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM??? HER ARE SOME STATEMENTS FORMS 1.PHYSICALLY QUALIFIED FOR ENLISTMENT 2.WIFE STATEMENT NOT THE FIRST ONE!!! 3WIFE STATEMENT GEEZZ 4. Not to be nosey, but i had a ICD defib and pacemaker combined implanted on OCT /2005. It has only gone off once,and has not bothered me at all. The only thing i did do is instead of not being able to use my left arm for 6-8 weeks i used my jacuzzie and put the jets on my arm and shoulder joints ,and was able to come out of the sling and use my arm in just 1 1/2 weeks the battery last from 5 to 7 years before replacement surgery hope this helps

YES!!! i called my VSO in WINSTON SALEM NC> My VSO is with the DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS and she has been great for giving me info, the best . I call ,she pulls it up on the computer and gives me any info i want,or ask for Same day i call the 800 number and they are very helpful also,and i have called more than once I thank them for helping me with info , and tell them i know how very busy they are I have never had a negative experience with the VA yet Perhaps other regional offices are not as good about giving info all im know mine in NC,has been great to me so far I cannot say enough good about the DAV rep i have She also told me more than once that she is ready and willing to help me any way she can and that she is a disabled VET and a LAWYER for VETS and knows VET CFR REGULATIONS and laws I certainly hope this is of some help to you

I truly hope this is in the right forum Claim for PTSD and secondary heart condition Was at the raters for 55 days , no decision made Now has been deferred back to developement Is this a good or bad thing????????????? should i be worried?????

Here is a word that might be of some help From 1997 to 2005 [7 years] the DRS went into my heart 7 times and place three stents and a defibulator and pacemaker,my ejection fraction was 17% What kept me going is the fact i have been fighting the VA since 1984,for benifits,because this was a in service injury I worked really hard and pushed to the limit physically daily OCT 2010 my ejection is 30% and my heart has healed somewhat , and i feel great No i can't do some of the things i used to do , but i just take a little more time now A word of advise,they can do miracles with the heart and rehab by new meds which there are new ones out all the time I consider you ,like myself A MIRACLE,use your frustration as a weapon against this,and please do not give up ,or let anybody tell you you are finished So hang in there and have a positive outlook,things will get better and it is not the end for you ,i am sure HANG IN THERE and good luck we'd like to have you with us for many more years

Well! i just got a call from my DAV REP she said my claim had reached that level 2 weeks ago and was waiting for a decision and rating on my PTSD and HEART CONDITION claims. She asked me how i got this far so quickly and i told her had it not been for HADIT i would still be in the beginner stage I wonder how long will it be now ,she said i was near the end anyhow. I guess thats good. Maybe i"ll go fishing every day and wait now,I do live on the OUTER BANKS NC I am shaky now until i get rated THANKS FOR HADIT ,YOU ALL HAVE BEEN ALOT OF HELP I realize this may only be one hurdle, but i wouldn't have made that without your help . I will keep everone updated when i recieve a rating

My VSO here in WINSTON SALEM NC just told me this morning that the raters are being made to go in on SATURDAYS to work on ratings because of the overload on claims. STill i am 8 months and waiting on PTSD claim good luck and i hope yours goes quicker than mine

Heck i have been waiting almost 8 months and still nothing from the VA on my PTSD claim

Yes, they cathed me 13 times but they never fixed a valve and what i have been denied on, is pulmonary artery insuffiency secondary to the bicuspid valve.congenital I never had a bicuspid valve, it has alway been tricuspid i was misdiagnosed in 1966 at the NAVAL hospital,and that is the reason for denial in all the denial letters perhaps i am wrong

I hope i put this post on the right forum I have been denied a heart claim since 1984, With the VA always saying that i was diagnosed with a congenital condition . This is one of 6 letters of denial from the VA I finally gave up on that heart claim,but i am trying to reopen this claim with this DOCTOR statement heart and echo report proving my heart is normal [or at least i think so. Does anyone think they will reopen this claim or will the VA ignore the new and compelling evidence in my favor I am really getting tired of fighting this and i know that the VA wants me to stop or die 1. I have been waiting for a reply for going on 7 month Everything was has been done Called my disabled american veterans rep and she told me , my claim was waiting to go to the rater , you just have to wait in line I was also told most claims for ptsd now take up to10 to 12 months

Yes actually the stressor was provided by the hospital records and confirmed by the psyc c&p doctor Yes i gave the VA a letter telling in detail bout the stressor and events leading up to it for months all is documented in my military records,that is the reason for hospitalization for over a month i do not know how to read it PTSD was added on july 19 2010 the opinion and diagnosis came from the PORTSMOUTH NAVAL HOSPITAL doctors cardiologist and phyc , both at the same hospital stay and laso i have 3 diagnosis of depression and anxiety and severe depression 2 perscriptions for zoloft and for zanax from DR"s which the VA also has copies of these records Nope no more pages to the letter only a page with their phone numbers so i don't know what this all may mean However i do have some more info i haven't given the VA yet 1.before entering the hospital my 6 month evaluation said i did my duties cheerfully and willing always a smile 2.and 2 or three evaluations after the hospital evaluation reports stating i had uncontrollabe anger , a CAPT>mast and another evaluation stating i had anger problems not present before being admitted to the hospital{for my last 2 yrs of service] O course now the VA says it is wondering if i even have a bicuspid valve, well i haven't sent the VA a copy of my dopple heart scan yet. do you think i should? No i don't have a vet rep yet except for my local service officer here

LETTER FROM VA; NOV 23 2010 IS THIS GOOD OR BAD OR JUST PLAIN UGLY, ALL THE LETTERS ON PTSD FROM DR'S CLERGY HAVE BEEN SENT, RECIEPT SIGNATURE REQUESTED FROM VA WHY ARE THEY CONTACTING THEM AGAIN? ANY ADVICE OR OPINIONS?
