it seems that more are in favor of splitting the forums, i've set up a test forum that shows all the splits and you can view it here http://www.hadit.com/forums/index.php?showforum=43 you can't post in it yet i have a few more tweaks to do, but you will be able to see how the split looks

the poll closed with the following totlas

split the forum 59.30%

don't split the forum 40.70%

Tbird,

If you vote NO it still makes you choose a topic to split off or it won't accept your vote.

To tell the truth I think there are to many forums as is.

I wish there was a separate forum for each of the topics listed but the poll

would only allow me to check one forum.

My feelings are:

When I go thru reading the posts under Claims/Research, threads in this section

read about like this,

example:

New post's

1) Can you help me with DIC?

2) Can you help me with this CUE?

3) Info needed on TDIU?

4) I think the C&P examination was bad!

5) How about effective date of my claim?

6) If I can't work will I get 100% benefits?

7) Neighbor's vet husband died, any benefits due her?

8) Doc didn't measure ROM - what do I do?

9) I filed my claim years ago, so why don't they pay me back to then?

10) Doc states I can't work - is this good enough?

The topics just keep hopping around from thread to thread - AND THEN

a thread gets hijacked,

Example:

1st post in thread:

Can Mom get VA benefits since Dad died

2nd post in same thread

Well maybe she can, was the family getting Chapter 35, was your Dad P&T

3rd post in same thread

My Dad died too - can Mom get burial benefits

4th post in same thread

Call the 800 number

Now this is a bit exaggerated - yet basically many threads wind up going this way.

I feel if the forums or topics were posted in appropriate areas, members would

be able to go to say CUE - forum or topic whatever you want to call it ----

and automatically in that one area they would find like 50 posts or threads on CUE

therefore not having to use search several times and/or reading through many, many

post before finding 6 or 8 in the last few weeks.

I feel we could be much more effective like this --- or at least I could.

jmho,

carlie

Lady T,

Since I already voted - it won't let me vote again.

But since I posted my opinion I don't feel you need

to change anything again just for me.
