There is an attempt in the House to overturn the premise of Feres-

but it looks to me that VA continued inservice prescirptions in this case-

The psychs rarely ever ask me about alcohol. I, like Rich, had to quit due to the pain agreement, and strong pain meds. All the psychs want to know about is SI/HI and plans.

no dx. for PTSD yet..however i just met my new (again) psyc. DR and she stated in her progress note.."alcohol in remission 2yrs., denies SI/HI ,defensive concerning substance abuse problem..depressed mood,tears easily, goes too AA mtgs. in /near home,refuses grp. counseling due too transportation problems..All I told her was i was not interested in driving too Bay Pines 20 miles 3xweek too sit for an hour..What a load of crap..it seems they write the notes too make themselves look good or doing something!! That;s true...and they keep asking if I have a "plan" for either....I think next time I'll let 'em know exactly what I plan on doing

I take Effexor, Klonepen, busbar, Celexa, lithium and temazepam daily for ptsd and major depression. And people wonder why I forget things. It is very said for these soliders to die like that.
