That's the way oit was for me at Waco VA only time I was able to talk about claim was at a Hearing till I found out late in game you can go to VARO and talk to Counselors.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

I agree also they are really not the best at coming forward and telling you what is going on. Somehow or another they got my file last time that I sent to Roanoke and all of a sudden it just showed up on my door step denied!

It is the VA call center system,. Your call gets routed anywhere. Huntington is actually pretty small.

The only way is to Visit them opersonally or contact your VSO at the Huntington office and let them interviene for you.

I did that once for another member here.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

the veteran is the last to learn what the actual decision is on their claim and very often you will never be told at the Regional office, it is sent to your mailing address and you learn it at home, that way they don't have to worry about you going postal on them, and some times it's best to get the letter at home after battling them for years, I was reduced to tears when I saw the 100% P&T, some days you feel like the battle with them will never end.

There is an old saying around here, if you didn't have PTSD before filing a VA claim they will give it you you during the process....

100% SC P&T PTSD 100% CAD 10% Hypertension and A&A = SMC L, SSD
