pdandrea Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Also you are going to have to call the pharmacy and let them know you are 50%, along with any other places you may have been paying copays and they will reimburse with a retro check from the date of your award. The updated computer is the key to not paying co-payments. 50 percent also puts you into priority group 1. J A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Does anyone know if this has any effect on military retired pay? I thought someone posted something about 50% being the magic number for retired pay. After reaching 50% disability compensation a military retiree is eligible for concurrent reciept of disability payment (crdp). Thats explained here at Hadit (search) and also at Dfas website.
