vet12
Well I had a laptop picked out. (Toshiba - Satellite Laptop with AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core Processor - Graphite Gray) Now this website has popped up. Has anyone had or heard of anyone else having problems with Windows 7? http://www.silobreaker.com/windows-7-11_54609746 Thanks, vet12
HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted December 1, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 1, 2009 Run windows defender and make sure you have a good anti virus software. J A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted December 1, 2009 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 1, 2009 Run windows defender and make sure you have a good anti virus software. J Also look into malwarebytes anti-malware. It tends to be able to get rid of spyware that other premier programs (i.e. spybot search & destroy and adaware) can't remove. If you can't get to the websites, you may have to go to a friend's house and have them burn the discs on CD for you. Some of the crap will block access and even disable your antivirus/antispyware programs. You may even have to install and/or run them in safe mode (press F8 as your PC boots up). A full scan could take a really long time, so be patient. You might have to do it repeatedly. I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life. The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans. Someone would reach behind the monitor and turn the brightness all the way down. Power on, but nothing on the screen. The number of computers were limited, so people would do that to get out of doing assignments.
