HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted August 2, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 2, 2010 Bob Who are the VA police? A bunch of guys that probably could not make it on the street as real cops. They are supposed to be there to protect US. In fact, they are there to protect VA staff from US. I have not a single doubt that if you frighten some VA staffer the VA police will beat and mace you in an instant. I have seen the biggest problems at the out-patient pharmacy. The VA police beat some poor old vet who could not find a spot to park and was driving around the lot in a hurry to not miss his appointment. They dragged him out of his truck and beat the crap out of him and maced him. I read about it in the local newspaper. He was an old man.
HadIt.com Elder Commander Bob Posted August 23, 2010 Author HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 23, 2010 (edited) I have to go to the VAMC today. I have postponed the appointment due to my previous reception there. For me, going near the VA is an unnecessary trigger. HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted August 23, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 23, 2010 Bob Are you going for routine appointment? I get mad when I had to go for prescriptions. It usually means a trip to the lab and then a long wait at pharmacy. They give me just the bare amount of pain pills to get me to the date of my next visit. I am already going to run out of meds before my next visit because they did not calculate correctly. Last time I went the pharmacy would not honor the doctor's prescription.
