babyray, please post your outcome. I was stationed there in 1968, 1969, and 1970. Loved it there. Heard Biloxi is a Casino village now. Too bad. It was a really nice base at one time. Have fun there.

I stayed there this past weekend. this place was second to none. my wife & i had a large room, private bath, microwave & a refri. for only 39.00 per nite. the base has every thing on it: 3 swimming pools, brand new commissary, food court, etc. yes there is a lot of casinos & restaurants. usually i stay at a hotel for 269.00 per nite. hope this help u.

I hope this is considered on thread. So with your MWR card you could also use the NCO club?

Or the "O" club, according to what the rank is, as indicated on the MWR card.

Also the base golf course, and, the military have some of the VERY BEST golf courses (ask Tiger, he learned on the base golf courses at Ft. Hood and others).

I've got a round scheduled next week at the course at the Naval Air Station, Ft. Worth. It'll be the first time I have tried to play in about 10 years (I was once pretty good and played on the OSU team on scholarship). My leg has not allowed me to play and I'm just getting up enough courage to try it once again. I miss it. I'm gonna play, even though I've STILL got a broken bone in my "good", real, right foot. Thank you, whoever it was that came up with golf carts! I ROCK, UH-HUH, UH-HUH!
