Question

I was just wondering if anyone on here has gotten their letter about their Clothing Allowance yet? I haven't heard a word.

I never get a letter, the $$$ just shows up in the bank towards the end of Aug.

Do yourself a favor.....buy some gold and silver! The printing presses are in overdrive.

If you a listed as "static" then you automatically recieve the allowance yearly. If you are not "static" you have to apply yearly. If you don't get the allowance, check the prostetics dept at your VAMC.

I'm delighted when the fix for a problem is "hit it with a hammer"

Its also a cool way to fix something.

They don't start coming out until the third week of August.

Is it just one award or do they pay for bilateral condition? For example braces on both knees, I know its a dumb question but I had to ask.

I contacted my VAMC and they said they haven't even processed all the claims yet. Nothing in the system yet for me. We'll see if it actually happens.

Limbo is status quo for the VARO.
