Founder Tbird Posted August 12, 2010 Founder Share Posted August 12, 2010 It is wonderful to hear that we were able to assist you, it's always great to hear from lurkers :) Berta said it all, this is not an unusual feeling, it will pass in time. I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life. The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans. HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted August 12, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 12, 2010 When the VA makes it official there can be a time when we feel bad about it. Over time you will feel better cause it adds some security to your life. Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.
mik
Thanks for the words of encouragement. My wife is very happy. It;s just that most people thought I was crazy to even think I was going to get anything the first time. My wife included. She tried to ease my pain if it didn't work out. That made me fight even harder and make sure I had every duck in a row. My life was wrapped up in this for a year. it's hard to let something go when everything you needed and worked for has been accomplished. I just applied for medical. that was an ordeal dealing with the paperwork and undrstanding the directions. I don't think that I will ever get use to that. I need to try to pay more attention to my family. I'm still around because of them. That needs to be my life goal now. Thank you
