Question

I was recently awarded 100% percent disability however no where in my claim does it state I cannot work. What it does state is the following.

50% sleep apnea w/cpap

50% prostasitis / prostate

40% depression

20% tinitis

and six claims at 10% each

my question is can I work? I want to continue working however I don't want to lose any compensation from VA.

August 1990 - October 2010... 20 yrs, 2 months and 2 days exact....

Mathew 18:20 KJV

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

vet2010 - yup, you can work. Unless you are TDIU or have a psychiatric disability, that keeps you from working, you can work. Enjoy!

Can I ask how you were rated 20% for Tinnitus? I was under the impression this was capped at 10%.

Limbo is status quo for the VARO.

It is capped at 10% and if he's getting 20%, it's an error.

pr

Maybe not if he got the rating before it was capped at 10%

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

You can be 100 percent and work as long as you are not IU or have a serious mental disability.

Also if you are on SSDI. Then ther asnswer is no. That would be risky.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
