I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it.

I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life.

The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans.

Thanks Tbird -I tried this and many ways to find something here this AM.

I am taking a vacation break and have company with me and haven't been here much but this AM I picked up a news story that angered me -a Blue Water Veteran who had 100%SC under the older VSM regs has lost his comp.

The on line newspaper has a codicil that one needs permission to reprint their articles so I await permission from them so I can print it here.As we all know 2 veterans advocates have been sued by some ambulance chaser lawyers because they printed stuff without a site's permission.

I asked the newspaper writer to call me or email me as I had some questions as to the article.

BUT I cannot find here either a training letter, fast letter, or directive that the article says was sent to all VAROs this past September from Tom Murphy (who replaced the infamous Bradley Mayes) from the VBA---- stating-per the article, that past awards under the VSM regs for AO disabilities Cannot be severed.

Is anyone here familiar with any internal memo ,Fast Letter or Directive from the VBA on that?

I am also trying to determine if this vet deals with the same VARO I deal with-here in NY- because if he does, that says it all-they will defy a directive or regulation whenever they can.

I cant find anything like this as to Murphys VSM statement at Yuku either.

Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

OK found what I needed on Google-

I will review the Training letter forum as soon as I get a chance and will post this if it isnt there-as it should be-

http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:CFxO3Cq_fJUJ:www.bluewaternavy.org/navy_nam.pdf+If+a+Blue+QWater+Navy+Vetern+was+previously+awarded&hl=en&gl=us&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEESiNwtTO4EudJnhEKM05tndZZH4UT8XKJGx_hwJG3L3WnSDJWpk6mJwYNi6bUWpZwf3-_2GQexHH1D3IrFkOku5Kdh2PdH3z7JcwGuF66hnfT6tEySwrS5fLfpPzSuBZvszlOeuq&sig=AHIEtbTZjkxrEwVzN1qcwnkbLwcUXSagZw

a local NY reporter hit on something that,in my opinion, is a bigger story then he knows.

Not only does it reveal what any veteran who received AO comp under the VSM regs could face at any time-it also shows how illiterate and/or arbitrary these ROs are.
