I recently went to my first VA appt since retiring from the Military and I must say I was glad to see how I was treated. I am 100% Sc and I heard all these stories about how they will try and reduce your claim and I must say that didn't happen. I went in and she asked me a few questions about my conditions and after 3 hours she stated "o.k, we will see you in one year". I am glad that I don't have to keep going back month after month.

My friend retired from the Army in Jan 2011 and he haven't received his rating back, he lives in Georgia and as much as we been digging and asking questions, no one from GA has received there rating back if they retired in 2011. Is this normal?

You don't have much to worry about when you just go to the VA for routine medical exams. Just remember that everything you say will end up in your record forever. I would say to be safe never say anything good about your SC conditions.
