Wonderful news. Congratualtions.

After 27yrs and good records & a honest C&P examiner. I'm glad I didn't have to go before the BVA. I hired a lawyer thinking it would take a long time but he didn't have to earn this pay day. I'm sure he will be happy. My VSO rep. is going to retire this summer so I was getting worried.

Congratulations! 36k is a nice amount to have appear unannounced in your account!

Money in the bank (Direct Deposit) often precedes the mailed notification and accompanying paper. I'd not be too concerned about getting the mailed documents, unless it's over a week or so after the deposit.

I've noticed that there is often a five day difference between the date shown on the paper, and the actual mailing date stamped on the envelope.

My wife checked our account this morning and $36,000 was deposited. We were on vacation all wk. and had our mail held till Monday. So I hope I'll get the envelope Monday. I'm glade it's over. Maybe now I can relax.

This is great news!! Congrats to you and your family!
