Question

I applied for TDIU after suffering from 70% PTSD rating and work became impossible. Months and months have gone by...and even my psycholgist was concerned. He's ask me "did you here yet"? .... and I'd answer no.

Today I got a letter from the DAV saying..... "it;s not official till you get the letter from the VA", but that they see that I have been awarded 100% disability and are rated P&T. I'm very anxious of course... what to believe.

Please help me with two questions if you will.

*How long after the DAV letter am I likely to hear from the VA officialy?

*Does the finding change sometimes after the service organization announces the VA finding (they said VA reserves the right to do that) ?

btw....I'm His wife.... writing this message on behalf of my husband.

Thank you,

F & D

You should hear from the VA within a couple of weeks. Best way to know for sure is to check your bank acct for retro deposit. The VA doesn't usually notify your SO until the claim is finalized and ready for notification. Be well and GOD bless.

Sounds like a big congrats is in order.

Be sure to check out for any additional State and VA benefits.

Spend wisely when it arrives.
