I agree, we are here to support, however, people should also take ownership of things that happen and not just blame the VA for everything that goes wrong. I don't feel anything "I said" was outta line. jmo

Hello MDB,,,,,, Hey ,,,,calm down .... You got people here who want to try and help. Whether you are a combat vet or not has nothing to do with the VA or the Hadit forum. You are still a VETERAN FIRST and you do have benefits regardless of what the VA does or says. It is not a good thing to lash out at anyone here on the board. Having PTSD whether it is combat or noncombat still means we have to try and be civil. I don't want you getting upset because the VA is counting on you doing something silly and then mess your problem up even more. You made a mistake ,,,,,, so have I in my claims process.... Yes, it will take some time to get it worked out and corrected, but it can be fixed. Your not the only Veteran here that has messed up his claim or information...... as a matter of fact , most of us here were new to this process and screwed it up good early on , so don't think you are alone.

Try and reread what Jbasser and Pete said to offer advice. I also do not use the Ebenefits or call the 1800 number because it is accurate about 15-20 percent of the time. Mostly you will be told everything but the truth and that will just make you madder and get you more frustrated. I would talk to the bank first then try and deal with VA finance to explain the situation. Its not going to be fixed overnight as you and I know the VA well enough to figure that one out. Anyway I am glad your here and hope that you will be able to work this thing out. Above all...NEVER GIVE UP. God Bless, C.C.
