for others this may take longer.

I retired on the old system CSRS. What success was you looking for if I may ask

Count your blessing that you retired under Civil Service and not in the chaos called FERS. This information is to inform men and women. Who fall under a retirement program that many deem to be an ultimate failure. We won't get into a big chat here but, We under FERS have paid into Social Security which has been and continues to be depleted for everything but, what it was original created for. Will it be there when the time comes for others to retire? The Government has made retirement a greater burden for those under FERS. Will we have the money to set aside at our jobs to invest in Thrift Saving Plan? Many can't contribute to the TSP what is needed to have even a livable retirement. Hell! Most will not be able to retire until much later in life than you or even I. Thank God for DR! This is why I choose to post this info. It will help those going through the current DR process and put their minds at rest. There isn't any standing in line and waiting for hours on the phone. It helps those with certain disabilities gain access to the crucial information and all at their finger tips. Information becomes knowledge, knowledge becomes success. How people use it is up to them.
