HadIt.com Elder JR Reihs Posted November 6, 2012 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 6, 2012 I have been doing some research on the new 2013 Rams..........Mine is an 04, and I am looking again due to the 25MPG's they are claiming. I like what I am seeing , but if I do pull the trigger , it will not be until spring
HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted November 6, 2012 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 6, 2012 Jr, you need to do a little driving to Danville and see Billy Jack. You would be amazed at how much you can save. I saved over 10 G on my 2011 2500 Laramie Mega Cab Diesel. J

J I may holler at you when I get ready.......thought about going diesel, but I think I will stick with gas. I was really looking into another SUV at first, my 04 just hit 70K..............just looking at another truck for trips as the lil ranger is a all around work truck and the 25 MPG peaked my curiosity. chinavet
Ford was tremendous. I bought an Escort and couldn't be happier! America finally has their auto act together. And the vet deals are good. Added to great financing by usaa I'm loving my wheels
Notorious Kelly
Glad to hear the comments both good and otherwise. When shopping somewhere that doesn't offer vets a discount, mention that their competitor DOES and that's where you're heading next. They may match it and change their policy. When a grocery chain offered vets a 10% discount one day, I emailed our thanks and hopes that they'd repeat the offer. I don't feel entitled to discounts but have repeatedly praised businesses who offer them and flagged competitors' discounts to businesses who didn't. Let's get folks used to honoring veterans with more than a bumper sticker! Jim MAC
mrsvet28
I have read that Senate bill 435 allows a100% s/c Veteran , to be exempt from sales tax on purchase of vehicle once every three years -- that was Oklahoma- does anyone know what other states that applies as well- they keep it pretty hush- when you're paying over 1200 in fees and taxes total (at a dealer) in Pa.
