Got 100% Va Reapply For Ssd

Got my letter for 100% SC from the VA yesterday. Have applied for SSD before, got a hearing and got denied. Should i go ahead and reapply for SSD again and send my letter

I believe you generally have 4 yrs to appeal an SSDI denial. If it's been less than 4 yrs, I'd do an appeal rather than start a new claim but that also depends on your VA disability award date.

I was denied in May of this year. My VA award date goes back to Nov 09. Just recently got the letter for 100%, dated Oct 19 of this year.

Also, keep in mind that SSA does not have to follow

in step with VBA evaluations/decisions and visa-versa.

Also I would reccomend you find a "GOOD" SS disability attorney from your local area to help you win your SSD claim.

If you live in the Jurisdiction of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals then you're in luck. In a recent decision the court decided that Social Security must give GREAT WEIGHT to VA awards when considering SSDI awards.

Most denied SSDI claims are denied based on incomplete or unreadable paperwork or your disability doesn't fit into their guidelines.
