jbob84
My thanks to all of you. Up until a couple of years ago ( I retired from the Gas Company--40 yrs.) , I would get my coffee and just look out the window and think about what I used to do before my PN got so bad. Now I get up every morning looking forward to learning more from this site and helping other veterans who are where I'd been for 40 years.
Berta
"I'm saving the retro to help me on future IMO's." Good for you.!..I mention that here from time to time too ........ Is the PN from DMII ? Was that what the award was for? This is GREAT News! The formal letter will tell you more. GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

Berta, Don't know how to email you to ask, but saw somewhere you mentioned Dr. Bash. I live in a rural area and may need an IMO/nexus, how can I reach him? jbob84
Berta. I got my formal letter yesterday. my award is as follows: DMII w/ed--20%, Diabetic PN left lower extremity w/ed--20%, Diabetic PN right lower extremity w/ed--20%, History of right wrist(this is my dominant hand)fracture in service: X-ray evidence of degenerative arthritis with any limitation of motion of the joint, Painful motion of wrist--10%. My biggest issue is with the wrist. They denied my wrist claim on 1/9/1970, saying they wanted me submit new and material evidence showing that my right wrist pains were incurred in or aggravated by military service. I just got out of service. What evidence could I give them other than my service medical records they had the day of my claim??? I' no sure if this is the right forum to discuss this. I did talk about this on Compensation & Exams.
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted February 24, 2013 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted February 24, 2013 Saving your retro money is a great idea. A good IMO is worth its weight in gold. I have had at least five and they were worth every penny.
