100% Va Unemployability

Question

I already receive 20% VA disability. My current goal is to earn 100% TDIU from my various health ailments that began during the Army. I left the US Postal Service on disability in November 2010. I've been on SSDI since May 2011 and on FERS OPM disability since June 2012. My "older" claims are currently with a law firm from Maine and they have in place a hearing scheduled for me in the next 6-8 months before the VA judge, but I have several more pending claims before the VA and they have not decided on.

Also, I need some assistance on getting a doctor referral so I can get a brain scan, so I can add the findings to my VA claims file...Help?. I requested my C-file again from the military so I'm waiting on that to arrive. I'm thinking to use the Ellis Clinic In Okla City and/or Health Information Services in Houston for my IME.

Thoughts on getting 100% TDIU?

I'm at 80% combined 70% PTSD. My situation is very much like yours. I too, was let go by the PO due to the severe of my condition. The VARO just recently told me to go get bent! I'm not going to give up! Good luck!

What you need is a letter from your treating doctor saying due solely to your SC conditions you cannot work. If you are on SSDI for SC conditions that is a big factor. I was fired from USPS in 2001. I filed for SSD, OPM, Worker's compensation and eventually TDIU. I won by using IMO/IME doctor reports that I paid for to add more evidence on my side. The VA awarded me 70% for mental condition but denied my TDIU at first. I continued treatment as I always had and also got extra IME/IMO to help me get TDIU. The VA is great at finding alternative explanations for your inability to work. I was harassed right out of my job and I made them pay. They threw me right into the briar patch. If you OPM and SSD for your SC conditions you are almost home.
