Motherof3
Update! I have been bombarded with calls from VA C&P examiners for previously denied GWI Claims and specialists for ignored medical issues my PCP and Specialists trying to attribute EVERYTHING to PTSD. Example: I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism in 2008 (now know symptoms were manifesting as far back as 1991), definitive diagnosis of Hyperthyroidism/Secondary to Graves' disease 2011. Undiagnosed (with only TSH Panel test) 2012 by different Endocrinologist. Suffered like hell since to present. IS IT JUST ME NOTICING SOLDIERS AND VETERANS WITH THYROID ISSUES? Did everything to get help. Left it to God for my sanity. Now everyone is hustling to get me in to Specialists: Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, OB/Gyn. Then our comrade HARDYMAN, posts that General Hickey is pushing Dependency claims AND eBenefits is showing awesome improvements in its updates. Even with its glitches. I SEE THE LIGHT COMRADES. BACK BLAST AREA CLEAR! LMBO!!!!!!!! AND THANKING GOD!!!!!!... Edited August 26, 2013 by Motherof3
FullTime
Congrats MO3! What great news for you and those who depend on you. I'd like to echo what Testvet was saying about those whom you thought would have your back... My own mother called me three years ago after talking to one of her friends who was retired military... she wanted to make sure I didn't get my hopes up too much because "everything I may get should be considered a gift"... I almost lost it right then and there. I'm 100% and don't tell anyone, it's non of their business. There are a lot of folks who pass judgement on you for whatever reasons... I look and act very healthy. However I've torched almost all my close personal relationships and live in a world of pain that you just can't understand unless you are there. So, good luck and live the best life you can now that your fight is over
Motherof3
I am hear you and I understand. Before last effort at claim, my family begged me to come home so that they could help and support me. As soon as I got there, I was treated like an alien, treated like shit by some. My faith got me through. Now my blessings are none of their business! I know who was there for me through my struggles and it certainly wasn't my family OR who I thought was my BFF. But God I say. Amen. Edited August 26, 2013 by Motherof3
