That proposal is not legal. We do not have to use their forms. It is about time someone put these fools in their place. They are trying to stack everything in their favor and I for one am not going to stand for it.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

At present, it is not legal, which is why they want to change the rules. Trying to screw the vet one more time!

"Trying to screw the vet one more time!"

And I thought this was just a continuing facet of VA practices!

When you read VA proposed rule changes, they seem to invariably benefit the VA,

at the expense of veterans. The VA got away with such things for decades.

Today due to the internet, it's getting harder.

How may veterans know about the Federal Register, and how to make comments?

I still believe that there has been some sort of conspiracy involving the VA and

veteran's compensation. Don't know if the VA was told "under the table" to do certain things,

but it seems likely.

I'd guess that the post Civil War history of veteran's compensation and the earlier incarnations of the DVA

started the behaviour that the VA has today.

I think harleyman said awhile back that the VA was going to stop sending the forms with the decision letters because they were getting too many appeals since they started sending the form. So I guess they still want to use the form, they just don't want to send it.

Think Outside the Box!
