Question

Well now that my claim is finished I'm trying to discharge my student loans so my credit will get better. The vocational rehab guy keep telling me about school. I might as well go to the prison and ask them to enroll MEE. At this point me and people do not mix. Also I don't want to commit to anything. Before I do anything I need to get my health together. I'm pretty much bleeding from time to time out of both ends. Yes. Old doc say my liver point is up most likely to being a alcoholic when I was in my twenties. I been avoiding all contact with unknown people. All I really want. It is not money for school but I just want my credit to get right where I can get a home loan then I pretty much want to disappear to the suburbs of California. Education I can read books. I have no desire to be around people. I walk with a cane every day. I see people looking at me then turning they head when i look they way. But not to stray from what I'm saying I put in for a school loan discharge so I will attempt on letting YALL know how it helps my credit if it do. So this is where I'm at now still going to the psych and medical doctors at the va. So my main goal is to pretty much disappear but not disappear from society.

Well I guess I will end this thread here. Thanx for all the input and wise advice. Some days I need it. I still have been locked up in the house. Only thing I do is go to my doctors appointments. I been seeing va psychiatrist about twice a month. So that's about it. Thanx for having me.

Thank you all for the comments on this thread. I relate so closely with the idea of only wanting to be outside and with my kids and animals. I too am 100%, but I'm still in the fight to get permanent status. Given the recent round of corruption in the news, coupled with my daily intense fight with the RO, I'm on the verge of the type of rage of which there is no return.

Thanx for the advice tbird. I'm still going to my psych appointments. I'm doing everything my docs is telling me to do. For right now I'm staying on lockdown at the house. A part of me wants to get put in a hospital for some time but another part of me DONT. My best success is staying at home. TRULLY all I want is to be forgotten left alone with no dealings with people I don't know if I can just move to the middle of no where I believe I will be fine. Its just stressful where I'm living. Who knows I will give the veterans hot line a call once I get to feeling MISCHEAVEOUS again.

man I know it sucks, but there just isnt many middle of nowhere places anymore. theres people everywhere. learning to somewhat tolerate others is the key. Theres a family deep in the interior of alaska trying to find solitude, and other PEOPLE just keep finding them. Look at that dude in washington state, who lives in the woods. He keeps going deeper and deeper, and is to the ocean now, and still people find him. Mick Dodge is his name. now Moss hopper, and everybody else is in the woods too. Not coexisting with other humans is an imposibility .

Its shows payed for but my credit score didn't go up its been about two months since they discharged my loans. But its cool I will just have to wait to my credit score get better to try and buy a house. Two years ago I was 480. I'm almost there. I will just rent a house until I can buy a house. All I TRULLY want to do is disappear. I have been in the house for a while now. I have been staying away from everybody except a couple family and friends. I'm curious to see if the psychiatrist can answer a couple of my questions. So I still plan on staying locked in the house for quite sometime. Ooh well hope everybody has a good night. :-)

write the credit reporting agencies letters asking them to remove negative accounts. also write the debt collection companies and tell them you demand a debt validation letter., many times they buy debts from big companies and dont have the proof to go with it. if they cant validate it, they must remove it by law. my credit score went from 645 to 765 in one month by doing that.

FYI- make sure you send in a copy of your rating decision on discharge of loans, otherwise it will be delayed. I'm going through the process now. I sent in my completed form along with VA verification letter that I printed off eBenefits. Well it only had my change of updated award and since my effective date was much earlier, they are delaying. I asked about a week ago on chat, why hasn't it been passed on to Dept of Education yet? they said even though I submitted the 100% TDIU P&T, they needed effective date which is 12/21/2012 and unfortunately the verification letter had my updated award of 4/1/2014. They said they were waiting for the VA to confirm the date. I said I have the rating decision with the date and I can fax or email it. So, I emailed them the decision letter with the effective date. I contacted them on Wednesday if they had rec'd it and what is going on? the chat rep said they rec'd it but still cant access the imaging on it yet. I was like ok, whatever. So I contacted yesterday because I still didnt feel satisfied with that type of answer. Well this rep says even though I did submit the updated information, that since they initiated a request for verification at the VA they will not move it forward regardless. I said can't you call them? they said no. We submitted it electronically and its up to whenever they get back to us. I was extremely pissed off then the guy goes well if you submitted that originally then we wouldn't have had to contact and it wouldnt be held up. I was iriate so I left the little chat window thing. No where in the application for discharge does it say you must provide effective date. It only says to show proof of 100%, which I did with the VA verification form....so I wait.

sorry for the long response and play-by-play

just don't make the same mistake I apparently did

82ndairborne -

Have you checked with your bank about a VA home loan, low credit scores and 0 downpayment aren't that big of a problem with a VA home loan.
