They have a boatload of Hygenist. The should call the place cleanings are us. I get it done every 6 months like clockwork.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

For what it is worth the VA has job announcements out for hiring dental hygienists. Whether they have them at your particular VA facility is something else. Maybe call

what facility is nearest (like a VAMC or VA Hospital, not a CBOC) and ask them? Good luck.

I am in new Orleans and I have my teeth cleaned every 6 month. You can bet your bottom dollar that they have hygienists on duty.

The VAMC in Birmingham calls me in for cleanings every six months also

They consider tooth cleaning an exam. If you tell them your tooth hurts they will pull in a second. When you ask about an implant to replace it they get deaf. At least in my case. When they did anything besides cleaning my teeth they fouled it up. I think they cost me two teeth that I replaced on my own dime. I am going to get them for that.
