iraqx2
In the recent rating, VA stated that my other two ratings equals 60%, I thought it was 80%, which could have effected my entire situation. 70% for PTSD and 20% for back totals 80%. Correct?

0 Moderator broncovet Posted December 29, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 29, 2014 Yea. 70 percent combines with 20 percent to make a combined rating using VA math of 80% according to the chart, because 76 rounds up to 80.
0 HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted December 29, 2014 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 29, 2014 They start w/the highest rating, then since you are 70% disabled, that leaves you at 30% remaining of the whole person and then they take 20% of the 30%, which equals 6%, which is added to the 70%, making 76% which is rounded up to 80%. pr broncovet, NavyWife and Buck52
