Tomahawk
maybe its just me but allison hickey is a retired air force general. she is also an under secretary at the va. i hope people sending email to her are addressing her by her proper titles. thanks for letting me rant. As I was unaware the she was a retired general I addressed her as "Ms. Hickey". Tomahawk
secretary or general In the future I will use General. However Under Secretary does not rate to be called Secretary. There is only one Secretary of the VA
jefmil50
Some people are not for titles, I just questioned my pharmacist of how I should address her, "Dr." or by her firdt name. She said 1st name was good, she is not all for titles. So as far as Allison Hickey, I emailed her Under Secretary Ms.Hickey. jmo
Moderator broncovet Posted August 12, 2015 Moderator Share Posted August 12, 2015 Her title is Pinocchio https://asknod.wordpress.com/2013/12/16/a-legend-in-her-own-mind/
Julie1975
Since we're being PC, she technically shouldn't be addressed as General. She retired as a Brig Gen; one star, not four...big difference.
