after being retired from army in 1971 my husband has received different disabilities ranging from 10, 30, and 50. He has been receiving 30 percent for 18 years. He was afraid to request increase over the years because last time they decreased to 30. In October I helped him request increase. Today went online and it shows 100 percent permanent disability. I am shocked. He deserves it believe me. What is he eligible for since he is getting 100 percentage? October 2014 is the date of claim. Will he get back pay for November. December. January. February. and March? What about medical insurance? Life? Thanks for all your advise

I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it.

I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life.

The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans.

It's worth a look to determine what the exact benefits are for 100%. Some of them that were prviously available only to P&T are now available to those with a 100% rating.
