Maybe they will help. You will have to apply, and I have not seen your records so Im certainly not qualifed to predict the outcome.
As already said, HISA are grants which allow home modifications to accomodate disabilities.

Go to this website for more information:

http://www.wilmington.va.gov/services/hisa.asp

I did notice that modifying your bathroom to accomodate your disabilites may be covered.

I am fairly sure they will help, if your 100% or over.(but not sure on that?)

my neighbor had several disability's and was 100% plus SMC's

His spouse called a VSO And ask him to help them they needed the same thing and a ramp installed out front.

the vso put in a claim for them made some phone calls ect,,ect,, and the VA sent out someone to look and see what all this veteran needs.

and they got approved the va will even get the construction crew or leave that up to you.

I had VA give me a grant that removed sunken tub and replaced with shower with bench through VA Prosthetic. Voc Rehab a different group will offer Independent Living which can also assiste. In total VA paid for new shower with bench, a couple of new high efficient tall commodes and a temperpedic bed. I am not going to tell you it was easy but it can be done.
