Comp and Pen Exam

I recently had a comp & Pen exam at  VA medical center and I am implying how can I get a copy of this exam.

Wait 3 days  then check online @ Myhealthyvet...it should be in there...you can download them and make copies. or check with your VAMC where you had the C&P after about week or so and go to information & Release of Records   ask for copy. hope you got a good report.

I have a two PTSD stressor claims one is combat related and one is not.  I have submitted all the evidence I have and completed a FOIA request for more infomation.  I am nearing the estimated end/closing date for my claim and have not been schedules for a C&P exam.  Is this a bad sign?  Should I expect a negative claim result.

They should definitely give you a C & P exam. What was the FOIA for?

Do you have copies of your SMRs and inservice personnel records?

You need the C & P for not only the VA  MH diagnosis of PTSD but also for the proper rating of it.

You have not moved since filing the claim ,have you? Does VA have all of your current contact info?

Do you have a vet rep helping you?
