Back From Surgury At Tampa Va

Dear Fellow Veterans & Friends

I had surgury on my left arm at Tampa VA yesterday. I told the anasteaoligist of the night mare of my first surgury where they woke me and I had tubes in my mouth and I could not breath. I told them I could not breath and they sat there for the longest time. This guy promised me that would not happen. I woke up in IU so softly it was a relife. I was so affraid of surgury again. Now I know I dont have to wake up starving for air again.

One strange thing happen though. Men in black suits and sun glasses came in and made the surgical staff swear to remain silent to anything I may say while under gas. I asked the staff what that was about. They said the men were concerend about my vast knowlege of VA law and its fraud and corrupton. They were affraid the VA would be embrassed if I talked in my sleep and it got out. Im glad they cant stop me from shiareing my informaton here on hadit.com.

Everything is out. We know what they are all about. If it were really non adversarial(sp) then they would do everything they could to give benefits to vets. The US Attorney would be investigating the VA for granting too many claims.

What can be done??

I had the same experience, about waking up and not breathing, in 1975 when I had tonsil and nose surgery. The anesthesiologist pulled the tube out of my throat, I could not breath, he kept saying breath, breath, come on breath. I turned sideways and finally started breathing. Why did they do that back then?

I wouldn't be surprised if all of the staff workers were sitting on the floor, in meditation, after your operation. The experience could have caused them trauma, in finding out that the VAMC has caused these problems with their multitude of stalls and also the sudden awakening of infinite knowledge.

I am having surgery on Monday and this made me laugh. Humor is nice sometimes.

Wow where do you get that stuff to smoke? Just had my spot drug test so Im good for a while? I would like a hit or two of that juice before my next surgery, got 3 elective choices to consider....Woow man Cheech would love it :)
