Congressional Help with Claim

Rate this question

Question

I am going on nine years of waiting for my notice of disagreement to be settled.  I went before the BVA in May 2016 and was sent back to the regional office for further review in October 2016.

I was wondering if my congressman would be able to help me out in this matter and I do not want to stall the progress of my claim or cause any conflicts any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have a financial hardship in on my case also. I was told this would help my case to be speed up but it looks like it has stalled again at the RO.

I emailed the Secretary this morning concerning my claims and appeal, I have in the system.  They responded to my email in 2 to 3 hours and said they will be forwarded my inquiry to VA leadership for review and direct feedback to me ASAP.   I will keep you guys up on the feedback.  Thanks a lot for HADIT.COM

Email the new VA secretary,  David Shulkins.  Google David Shulkins email address and it will pop up. Nine years is absolutely ridiculous and I guarantee if you email the VA Secretary you WILL get a response from your RO.  I would email him today,  be as detailed as possible and be SURE to include your claim/ssn, phone number, which RO has your claim,  and include your hardship situation. If you can't locate his email, let me know and I will provide it to you.  Good luck!!

Hiya Flores, long time no talk

I also emailed the new Secretary this afternoon regarding my long awaited C-File and my 9 years of missing medical records from Alaska.

Green,  how have you been? I hope you receive a speedy response,  and I wouldn't be surprised if you receive your cfile very soon,  be sure to make copies.  I hope they locate your missing medical records as well, have you tried contacting the facilities in Alaska that you had the treatment at?

I finally got a response from VA Secretary Office that it reviewed my email and has sent it to the VBA leadership team for review and I should hear from them in 7-12 days. I will keep you informed when I hear something.
