''After the expiration of the 90 day period following certification to the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA).''

I'd recommend you give Vet Lawyer Chris Attig's interview with a Senior BVA Judge a read, it explains the Appeals Decision Process.

My take on the interview was that the initial Hearing Judges are kinda like "Law Clerks", they hold the Hearings, make sure all possible Remand issues are covered and that the VA hasn't missed a Legal Required Action. Then they write up a Legal Brief and an opinion and forward it to a Sr. BVA Judge for a final Decision. That's probably why a Final BVA Decision can take in the area of (8+) months to be rendered after the actual Hearing.                          The posting of "Redacted" copies of your Denial, NOD Issues, DBQ's and Remands, would help to get us up to speed.          Semper Fi
