Question

Good Day All

Just a question:

I am presently rated at 80%, and was recently by my outside PSYCH doctor with Depression Disorder and Anxiety Disorder and was wondering how this would affect my overall 80% disability rating?

Never count on it until you get that little white Envelope  in the mail.

I say white  I think they are white now  instead of the Brown ones they use to send out.

If you use a C-Pap That  don't automatically give you 50% !!!

you will need plenty of medical documentation from qualified Dr's stating the secondary is likely as not the reason you have sleep apnea  from the medications you take (go into details)  and also a Qualified Dr must state in his/her report that the C-pap IS MEDICALLY NECESSARY  for you to use for  your Health.

Yes Sir, Doctor told me he has tied this to current conditions and more likely than not this was caused by my service time and stated that a CPAP is necessary.   So, I guess I will wait and see how this overall appeal comes out.... The VA also combined this sleep apnea with an increase for my wrist and shoulder so hopefully this total appeal is positive.

Congratulations, yes a 50% award would get you to 100%.  Have you considered TDIU if you are not working?

Still working right but it is a tough road to keep this up

Do you have an in-service diagnosis for Sleep Apnea?
