Question

I had my video hearing with Law Judge and its been with the judge now for two months then today it says on Ebenefits the following:

Administrative Case Processing

Your appeal is at the Board. While preparing to decide your appeal, various administrative actions may be required, and your appeal may fall into this category more than once. Your appeal will proceed towards decision upon completion of any of the administrative tasks required.              Any Idea What This Means?

It means they received the hearing transcript and your case is now in the hands of the judge's staff for adjudication.

"Your appeal may fall into this category more than once" means the status you see may bounce between stages depending on what they are doing.

It's basically the same as the regular ebenefits notifications:  They can change back and forth until it you get the big brown envelope. And none of the changes really mean anything to you.

JL, lay an eyeball on VA Lawyer/Hadit member/advertiser Chris Attig's post (2014 or 15) of his personal interview with a  Sr. BVA  Judge regarding the Hearing and Decision Process.

Your BVA Hearing Judge was BVA Lawyer acting in the role of a Sr. Law Clerk to one of the BVA Sr Judges that will ultimately make the Decision on your Appeal. The Hang Time from Hearing to actual Decision is dependant on the complexity of your Appeal, up to a year is not unusual.

The Hearing Judge must make sure all the Legal I's and T's are dotted and crossed, possible Remands are addressed before presenting the completed Hearing, along with his recommendation to the Sr Decision making Judge.

I agree with Gastone

''VA Lawyer/Hadit member/advertiser Chris Attig's post (2014 or 15) of his personal interview with a  Sr. BVA  Judge regarding the Hearing and Decision Process.''

that is a good read  I read that.

It will give you a better understanding about your appeal to the BVA.
