Berta Posted December 31, 2018 Share Posted December 31, 2018 I got a letter-dated Dec 17, 2018 It says: You are in receipt of Dependency and Indemnity Compensation.(widow's SC death benefits) The effective date of the last change to your current award was 01-Dec-2018 Your current monthly award amount is $1,319.04 I thought VA would send everyone a letter about the COLA. Ms berta usually (with me anyway) I don't get the cola letter until around late Jan or Feb..But I do think were All suppose to get one or be notified of the cola increase.
