Odd C & P question

Question

LHI , who does contracted C & P exams, has this info on their main page:

"LHI is seeking providers to give back to America's heroes and help them promptly receive service-connected benefits.

Examinations begin with a review of the Veteran’s medical history as well as the Veteran’s self-reported current state of health prior to the appointment. This material, paired with the Veteran’s responses you collect during the exam, will then guide you through our worksheet-based protocols. Once the examination is complete, the results and subsequent diagnoses are populated directly into the Veteran’s record via LHI’s web service."

They add reasons why a medical person should join LHI:

"Patriotism
Take pride in knowing that you are actively supporting our Veterans, active-duty Service members, Reserves and National Guard.

Expand Your Practice
Increase patient flow with appointments conveniently arranged by LHI to fill openings in your schedule.

Increased Income
Earn additional income with timely reimbursement from LHI.

Streamlined Appointments
No prep time, prior medical record review, filing of insurance claims and no patient billing. Payments are guaranteed for completed services."

Question, does this statement 'Examinations begin with a review of the Veteran’s medical history as well as the Veteran’s self-reported current state of health prior to the appointment'

coincide with this statement

"No prep time, prior medical record review, filing of insurance claims and no patient billing."

Are they really prepared, as to your medical history when you get there? Or do they do that when you are there.....?

If he sends back a favorable C&P vets are hard pressed to complain about him. Really, who wants to delay getting rated or going back through the process? So to that extent it is understandable.

That truly is the problem, no one complains about a favorable C&P (myself included), but we really should. For as vets we deserve the best care and not some second rate/unqualified doctor. JMO
