Your nexus letter "may" help, provided that:

1.  The opinion is from a doctor with a specialty in the field you are seeking.

2.  The doctor is familiar with VA, and put it in the format, "its as least as likely as not your condition is related to an event which is documented in service.

3.  The doctor also submitted his CV to demonstrate expertise in the field, said that he reviewed your records, and provided a medical rationale for his opinion.

4.  Of course, this presumes you have a diagnosis, and an event in service documented.

If you mean YOU wrote the letter, you just wasted ink and paper, UNLESS you are a medical professional, with an advanced degree and experience in the field.

Ami We need facts; you can't get any advise if you don't tell us what you are trying to do, what you did before, what did your denial letter say, is your disability documented in your str's, etc. Redact/remove your name, ssn, address, etc. off what you have for us to help you with. We just can't help you without knowing the details.
