VA back pay.

I was just awarded an increase from 10% to 20% for my lower back. I saw it on e benefits yesterday. When might they deposit the amount, will it come on the first of the month or will it be deposited sooner ? TIA

Tomin You can monitor payments also by going to ebenefits and looking at payments to you. Since it is back pay,not your monthly comp, it is paid out and deposited into your banking account anytime the process finally develops.

You should see it in a few days. Make sure you have all your dependents listed for once you hit 30% or higher you start getting paid a little bit more for spouses and minor children.

It usually comes sooner. I think mine took around a week  and a half from when ok noticed the award changed on ebenefits.
