I agree with Ms berta  about the buddy statements.

Also if you can remember the time and dates of your stressors and let them know about what happen and give your unit name location, commanding officer and approx location with in 10 days or so and they can collaborate your story

You don't need to be a combat veteran to have a S.C. PTSD Rating. or MDD ANY TYPE TRAUMA THAT YOU WITNESS THAT TRAUMATIZED YOU. AND THAT COULD HAVE HAPPEN YEARS AGO.

Your BVA decision is not posted yet.

Back to what "Jungles?"

Are you an incountry Vietnam Veteran? If so we have plenty of Vietnam vets here who had stressors incountry.

If this was a racial  slur, I regret this stuff happened in the MIL.

However, a veteran I helped years ago, with his claim,  mentioned lots of racial problems he had in the Army in the 1960s.

He said he sure did not want to put that stuff into his claim...it was the past, we were just talking about it all, tryinng to establish his nexus,

and his claim was solid anyhow. The BVA awarded it.
